So you're back at your desk after the holidays and now you are trying to determine what you and your camera will be doing in 2014. Oh, you're not? Well you should be! The beginning of a new year is a great time to assess your goals, or to make some if you have not already. Here are a few great ideas I stumbled upon that I thought you might enjoy.
These were captured from an article written by JMeyer at Digital Camera World. Click the topics below to go directly to each idea and an explanation of how to achieve the shot. 1. Shoot a vertorama 2. Shoot a vibrant abstract photo 3. Shoot tropical fish 4. Shoot in ultraviolet 5. Shoot frost in spectacular detail 6. Shoot a split-frame landscape 7. Shoot a winter portrait 8. Shoot animals in action 9. Revisit your old photos My goal is to try all of these with my iPhone and my DSLR. I'll share the tutorials when I do. If you're in San Diego, or even f you are not, join Pacific Photographic Society (where I co-organize), for meetups that create the opportunity to meet one of these goals that inspire you. Feel free to share any other ideas you have come across if you don't find them here. And please share this post with friends to see who you inspire. Cheers!
