One of the fears I find many people have is the fear of failure. They allow themselves to be consumed by it, so much so that they never truly pursue their passion or their dream - they don't venture into creating something, let alone enacting the change in their life necessary to grow themselves. Tragically, these individuals pass up opportunities that would add value to their lives.
When people are asked what their biggest regret is at the end of their lives, the common theme is that they regretted not pursuing their dream. The video below really illustrates this point.
Often times when I present an opportunity to someone, even something as simple as, I can help you get that passion going with a blog or a site, sadly, the response is not one of excitement about taking their passion to the next level. For so many, their passion is tied to a dream, but so often, the opportunity to have someone accelerate and get them moving forward to that dream is not embraced. With all the opportunity and technology to network available today there is no better time to move toward those dreams.
So if you're reading this and you have been on the sidelines because you are either afraid that you are not ready to pursue your passion in addition to what you are doing, consider this:
The one reason you should say yes to an amazing opportunity, even one that kickstarts your passion into gear in the simplest of ways, is in order to not regret it when are unable to do something about it later in life.
In an age when many are consumers, wouldn't it be great if you used your passion to create, and serve and help others?
